Season of Giving
It is the holiday season and what better way to start off the Christmas month than with a company Christmas Party for your employees. On December first, Upson Company started off the season of giving by celebrating with their employees and families the Christmas season with a party to show just how much they appreciate their employees. Much is demanded of Upson Company’s employees throughout the year as they work hard finding solutions for customers, constructing new roofs, fixing leaks and repairing existing roofs. As the premier commercial roof repair company in Boise and the surrounding valley, Upson Company has no choice but to demand a lot from their employees.
But those employees are well rewarded for their effort. Thursday night was just one such example. Foreman, journeyman, apprentices, salesman, administrative and accounting staff, and managers along with their families convened at Big Al’s to partake in the merriment of the season with games, food, photos, awards, and a vista from Santa.
Employees who went above and beyond this year were given special awards, with a complete tool set awarded to the Employee of the Year. Awards were also handed out for years served at the company. Upson Company pays for a one-week vacation anywhere in the world for an employee and their spouse when they’ve worked for the company for twenty years.
Gifts were given to all the wee ones and everyone got to sit on Santa’s lap. Older children got a fun surprise. For the boys they received a gift card to Game Stop and the girls got a “Benjamin” as Steve, the owner, likes to call them for the president on one of America’s paper currency.
Upson Company is a family oriented company and hopes by taking care of its employees they can help take care of their families as well.
